Baby Caskets.com is a featured video on eBaum’s World

On April 17th, the comedy video site eBaum’s World posted our Baby Caskets.com as a featured video on their front page. As always, it generated a healthy amount of controversy (as of right now, it has received 522 comments).

We don’t know why (two years after it was released, and two weeks after MTV’s Human Giant paid it great homage) the folks at eBaum’s decided to feature our video, and frankly, we don’t care. We couldn’t be more flattered to have our video featured on a site with a reputation like eBaum’s (this is how Gary Brolsma rose to stardom—and look how great that turned out!). We also couldn’t be happier with some of the responses to the video.

PeterDragon55 said “I’d like to unload you with a pitchfork and spatter your remains all over a wall you sick son of a bitch!!!!!” There’s something about a threat of violence from a guy named after a Disney movie that doesn’t exactly shake us. We’re not sure why.

chrisvet said “Maybe its just my mood, this really isn’t funny, and the annoying chick (we assume he means Samantha) needs to die.” Once again, the proper response to fake casket videos is always the threat of violence.

the_big_bad said “This was in poor taste. Everyone knows when your baby dies you eat it to absorb all it’s power.” We couldn’t agree more. Coming, Summer 2008, “Baby Caskets: Highlander Edition.” Highlander like the movie, not the SUV.

chrisvet said “I suggest we put this bitch in the casket with the baby. Looking at her makes my eyes bleed.” This guy really doesn’t like Samantha.

THEHOPEDEALER said “SAD THING IS,THESE ARE ACTUAL CASKETS,FAKE COMMERCIAL. IN DALLAS TEXAS THERE IS AN ACTUAL CASKET MART. IT HAS NEON LIGHTS,SIGNS, SALES AND SPECIALS. THEY EVEN HAVE LATE NIGHT FIRE SALE COMMERCIALS. HOW LOW,NOT. IT IS JUST A BUSINESS FOR THEM, I KNOW BECAUSE I WENT THERE AND TALKED TO THEM.”

To which Scambizzle replied, “CAPS ARE NOT NECESSARY ALL THE TIME.”

Finally, CarGirl said “Thats what makes it so bad. They use real child caskets to use in their “funny” little video.

We personally Photoshopped each and every one of them. But she thinks that we used actual caskets, and that’s why we still love this video; because it’s just close enough to reality.
